You may have noticed how compacted our retail space had become. Can you believe we have almost hit the 2 year mark already?! The growth we experienced in just two short years has been incredible. I have some exciting news to share with you! ReWed Bridal moved to a larger space and it is right around the corner!
The new address is 21 S. Royal Avenue, Front Royal VA 22630
The new space will have individual rooms for each type of product (i.e. pageant, short dresses, long dresses, wedding dresses, shoes). Over 4,600 sq ft and 2 floors. We will have two separate fitting areas and a more private wedding experience with more mirrors and seating. The building was constructed in the late 1800's and used to be a school house.
Timing:
This will be a full buildout that will be happening in stages. We have just opened the first 1200sq ft and are currently offering all formal wear (pageant dresses, prom dresses, holiday, party and gala dresses, and mother of dresses), shoes, accessories and tuxedo rentals.
Starting end of January, we will open another section of the store to provide Wedding Dresses, brand new shoes, shapewear and a tuxedo try on station with select suit/tuxedo apparel available for purchase.
We should be fully finished by the end of February (if all goes well). At this point we will start accepting consignments again. Please do not bring us any consignments before then.

At ReWed, you are able to choose from new, samples, or gently pre-owned wedding dresses, formal gowns and rental tuxedos. After the wedding, sell your dress by consigning it with us. We do all the work, your items get exposure to hundreds of brides and your dress will be expertly matched with someone who is sure to love it as much as you.
ReWed started as a one day wedding event where couples could rent a booth at a wedding venue to sell their wedding dresses or décor. These events were so successful that we decided to open a permanent retail space to help brides shopping on a budget.


About the Founder
Hi I'm Stephanie! I got married in 2013 and all of my decorations, flowers, cake and even my veil were DIY. I am a very crafty person and chose this route mostly because I loved it but also because I was determined to stick to my budget (I also bought a house that same year). Lets face it, weddings aren't cheap. One of the biggest expenses for me was a wedding dress. I had a hard time justifying spending that much money on something I was only going to wear a few hours. I secretly dreamed of buying a used wedding dress. Who would even know? I thought about being able to shop the brands and dresses of my dreams and saving money for my honeymoon and house. Unfortunately, there weren't any bridal shops like this local to me and I did not feel safe or comfortable shopping on Facebook marketplace or online without trying them on.
After talking to friends and family, I realized I wasn't the only one having this issue, out of this came the idea of a wedding resale business. I hosted two large one day wedding events and they were a great success but I wanted more. I wanted brides to be able to have that amazing boutique feel and be treated like a queen. I dreamed of a permanent location.
I chose Front Royal, VA not only for it's central location but for it's amazing view of the Shenandoah mountains and welcoming residents. I visited many times, and saw that there was a real need for a formal wear store. Brides or anyone shopping for formal wear could make a day trip and see all there is to do in downtown Front Royal. I was sold.
I am currently in the process of relocating from Fredericksburg, VA to Woodstock, VA and will be opening the store front by February 2021 with consignments being accepted in January. I look forward to everything this amazing town has to provide and to bringing a much needed service to the area.
Q&A
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: Yes. If you wish to try on wedding dresses or getting fitted for a tuxedo, you need an appointment. This is because we have limited space. Also, we want to make sure one of our stylists is available to help you get in and out of the dresses. If you are looking at formal dresses, appointments may be required during busy seasons such as prom or homecoming. Appointments are also required if you are planning to drop off a consignment.
Q:Is there an appointment fee?
A: There is currently no fee to try on formal wear and we allow formal wear walk ins. To try on wedding dresses there is a $35 non-refundable appointment fee that is applicable towards a purchase of the dress/accessories.
Q: How long are the appointments?
A: Wedding dress appointments are 1hr 15mins. Formal Dress appointments are 30mins and Tuxedo Fittings are 20-30mins/person.
Q: Can I just try on one wedding dress without an appointment?
A: No. The reason is when you have an appointment, we go in depth into your wedding plans, learn about your date, your venue, your tastes, pretty much everything we can about the wedding itself so that we can match you with the approriate dress. Also, we want you to try on multiple dresses often in different styles. Dresses look very different on the racks or on models than they do on your body. We just want you to look beautiful on your big day and that can rarely be achieved by trying on just one dress.
Q: How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?
A: You may have up to 3 guests. We are a small bridal boutique and we have enough seating for 3 plus yourself. Fewer is better. Keep in mind the more people you bring the more opinions you are hearing and this can make it hard to make a decision for yourself.
Q: Can I come by myself?
A: Absolutely! These are our favorite appointments. It is easier to get to know you and learn about your preferences when there are not other people there to voice their thoughts. Also, if you are feeling extra nervous, apprehensive, or indecisive, this can be the most comfortable way to learn about the different styles and see what works best on your body.
Q: What should I bring with me to my appointment?
A: Just your sweet smiling self and a willingness to try new things. Seriously, that's it. You are welcome to bring shoes if you have them. Please make sure you are wearing underwear. Bras or other undergarments are not required though you can bring them if you would like. Most dresses have some sort of extra padding or bra cups built in so we often recommend you try them first without a bra so you can see what undergarments or alterations if any might be needed.
Q: Can my mom or friend help me in the dressing room?
A: While we completely understand why you would feel more comfortable with someone you know, we ask that they sit this one out. First and foremost because you get to wow them with that "first look". Secondly, we are an expert at helping you into a dress, preventing you from getting stuck (this can happen without our guidance/help) and this helps us preserve the condition of the dresses. We aren't shy, you have nothing to worry about here.
Q: Do you offer alterations on the dresses you sell?
A: Not yet, but if you know someone that wants to come work for us let us know! We refer all our customers to Alterations by Millie. Mille and her team are the best at what they do.

Q: Do you place holds on an item?
A: Yes! We allow a 24hr hold. For formal wear the non-refundable hold fee is $25 and is applicable towards the purchase of this item. Wedding dress holds are $50.
Q:Do you offer financing?
A: Yes. We have two options.
1. In house: for items over $500 you can pay a 50% non refundable deposit and the remainder would be due in 30 days. We would hold the item until it is paid in full.
2. Afterpay: a 3rd party company that you sign an agreement with directly. You set up payments over time, usually with a deposit. Once approved they pay us directly and you take the item home same day.
Q: May I try on dresses for fun if I don't have an event?
A: You are welcome to look around however we do not allow browsers to try on dresses just for fun. While we totally understand how exciting and fun it is to dress up and look pretty, if you are not truly planning to purchase or don't have an event to wear the dress to, we will refuse service, at our discretion. This puts extra wear/tear and dirties the dresses.
